Not an entirely new concept, but well thought-out levels and design.

Needs more levels and some sort of story progression.
Could benefit from mini-bosses and a boss at the end.

Figure out what kind of pacing you're going for with the levels.
Are they all slow and tactical levels, or will there be fast-paced levels.

Best of luck with future work!

A lot of fun

I'm normally not a massive fan of 'zombie shoot-em-ups', however I did spend a good amount of my time on this!

Of course the levels were repetitive, however the stats at the end of the level (% headshots for example) and wondering if you were going to get a new weapon or not made it a lot more fun to play, although when I earned the flamethrower, I seemed to spent most of the time in the levels holding the mouse button down and running about and succeeding, which eventually got pretty repetitive.

Overall though, great job and best of luck with any future Newgrounds submissions

Jimp responds:

Glad you liked it! Cheers for the review!

It is pretty good :D

I did find it very addictive, although I did appalling most of the time, since I haven't got a wide knowledge of American culture.

One small point - the Guns and Roses question was faulty. I selected the correct answer (K-Mart), and it told me I was wrong. So yeah :P

pacdude responds:

I'm getting that a lot. PM me with what it said the correct answer was and I'll try to fix it.

Ow! My hands D:

First of all, I would like to thank you very much for the carpal tunnel I have received.
It isn't the most original idea, but the medals make the game worth playing to stat freaks like me.
Anyway, my wrists are killing me, and I must place some cold water on them this instant; best of luck with this game, and all your future projects!

Nifty little game :D

I love the idea, since it's so wonderfully simple.
Did sort of bugger up my eyes and ears during the end of the game. though :).

Brilliant!

I am amazed by how good this game is :D

I absolutely loved the first Music Catch, and didn't expect this latest version to better the original!

The music is gorgeous, the levels are charming, and the style and presentation is stunning.

I especially loved the URL feature, as I have always wanted to play the levels to the music of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs :D.

In conclusion, this is a fantastic game, and if this doesn't reach the front page, I'll be in shock.

x

I had to seen it to, believe it

My, oh my does this bring back memories of me playing the demo with my older brother, waaaaay back in the 90's.

Well done, man!

Beautifullly presented

You did an excellent job with this game!

The graphics and presentation are both stunning. I absolutely adoring the colours used.

The music is very nice, and works well with the game, although it can get a bit repetitive, but thankfully it has mute button.

The only tiny problem was that the music for the nightclub scene doesn't loop :(.

Apart from that tiny problem, great job! and I hope you continue making more content for NewGrounds ;).

Nice Job :3

This is a great quiz, the layout is brilliant, the background was a good choice, and the buttons were nicely designed.

Even though I loved the music in the menu screen, it's a shame there was no mute button on the menu, and I was not a huge fan of the music during the quiz.

Apart from those minor drawbacks, this is a great quiz, so well done :D.

Quite a good tutorial!

Well done on making a very useful tutorial :D

I like the design of the buttons, but the background itself was very dull, so try and make a more professional and sophisticated background to your next tutorial.

You could also add a design to the cursor, as it would look a lot better than using the everyday boring PC cursor.

I recommend adding music to this tutorial, and if you were to add music, don't forget to place a mute button on each page as well.

At the moment, the user cannot go back a step. Next time, add a 'previous' button.

If you are considering making a more complex tutorial, use videos to guide the user through each step, rather than just pictures and text.
